AC/DC's Iconic 'Jailbreak' Performance: A 34-Year-Old Reunion
AC/DC, the legendary Australian rock band, made a highly anticipated return to their home country, captivating 80,000 fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This marked the first time in over three decades that the band performed 'Jailbreak,' a classic from the Bon Scott era, live. The band's tour continues with another Melbourne show on Sunday, November 16, followed by performances in Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane over the next five weeks. They will then embark on a South American and Mexican tour in February, March, and April 2026. AC/DC's summer tour of North America is set to begin in July 2026, with 16 dates across the continent, starting in Charlotte and ending in Philadelphia.
The Melbourne show's set list included fan favorites like 'Back in Black,' 'Thunderstruck,' 'Highway to Hell,' and the tour's opener, 'If You Want Blood (You've Got It).' The band's performance was a testament to their enduring legacy, leaving fans thrilled and eager for more.
