Bondora said yields on its 2021 loan cohort rose 0.1% this month, leading to an annual real rate of return of 15.1%.
This exceeded its annual return target of 9.5% for emissions last year.
The European peer-to-peer lending platform said all three markets of Estonia, Spain and Finland exceeded their target rates for the fourth quarter of 2021.

In contrast, the 2020 creative rate of return continued to decline slightly, by 0.2% this month, Bondora said in a blog post on its website.
However, this still equated to an annual rate of return of 15.6%, exceeding the target rate for the 2020 cohort by 3.2%.
“The strong Estonian portfolio exceeds its target of 8.6% and subsequently carries the collective performance of 2020,” Bondora said. “The Finnish and Spanish portfolios are both below their target rates.”

Bondora said 2022 continues with strong performance across all three markets.
“From the second quarter of 2020 to the fourth quarter of 2021, our quarterly performance exceeded target rates,” added Bondora. “Annual rates of return for 2021 also exceeded the target rate of 5.6%.
“The performance of the Estonian portfolio remains a force to be reckoned with, and the Finnish portfolio is gaining impressive momentum. We look forward to seeing how they perform over the next quarter.
