Join the City of Sacramento’s Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) for a webinar at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22 to learn more about student loans and discuss the most recent changes to government student loan repayments federal.

Participants will hear the FEC Coaching Team review general student loan information (i.e. define general terminology, discuss types of student loans, explain repayment plans, etc.) and discuss of the most recent changes on Washington student loan repayment.

“The city’s financial empowerment coaches are here to help all adult Sacramento residents access resources and build financial health,” said Amy Williamson, the city’s financial empowerment manager. “We will be hosting quarterly webinars on different topics that impact Sacramentans to help them learn more about these issues. We can also set up individual coaching to help them work on their financial goals.

Launched in 2020, the Financial Empowerment Center helps local residents build their long-term financial health by reducing debt, building savings, improving credit, and/or connecting to checking/savings accounts safe and affordable. Professional coaching services are available in English and Spanish for all residents 18 years and older.
